About the Role
We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and results-driven Social Media Manager who is fluent in Kannada (Read, Write & Speak). The ideal candidate should be passionate about digital marketing, content creation, and social media trends. You will be responsible for managing our social media presence, creating engaging Kannada and English content, increasing brand awareness, and driving audience engagement across various social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and publish engaging content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X (Twitter).
- Create high-quality posts, captions, reels, stories, and short-form videos in Kannada and English.
- Manage daily social media activities, including scheduling posts and responding to comments and messages.
- Develop content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns and business objectives.
- Monitor social media trends, viral content, and competitor activities to generate fresh ideas.
- Coordinate with the design and marketing teams to create visually appealing content.
- Track social media performance using analytics tools and prepare monthly performance reports.
- Increase followers, engagement, reach, and brand visibility through organic and paid strategies.
- Assist in planning and executing online marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Maintain consistent brand voice and communication across all digital platforms.
Required SkillsMust Have
- Fluency in Kannada (Read, Write & Speak).
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
- Ability to write engaging captions and social media content.
- Basic knowledge of Canva or other graphic design tools.
- Understanding of current social media trends and algorithms.
- Creativity and storytelling skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with Meta Business Suite or social media scheduling tools.
- Familiarity with SEO, hashtags, and social media analytics.
- Experience in running Meta (Facebook & Instagram) ad campaigns.
- Photography or videography skills will be an added advantage.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, Business Administration, or any relevant field.
- Min 1 years of experience in Social Media Management or Digital Marketing.
- Freshers with strong content creation skills and an impressive social media portfolio may also apply.
- Candidates must be willing to work from the office in Bangalore.
