Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce QA Lead Engineer with strong expertise in Salesforce testing and mandatory Life & Annuity insurance domain experience.
The candidate will lead QA activities, define testing strategies, manage defects, and ensure the quality of Salesforce applications and releases. Experience with AI-assisted testing tools and techniques is also required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the QA team and manage day-to-day testing activities.
- Review business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Create test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, API, system, and UAT testing.
- Test Salesforce components including:
- Apex
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Flows
- Validation Rules
- Reports & Dashboards
- Security configurations
- Validate profiles, roles, permission sets, sharing rules, and field-level security.
- Perform API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.
- Track and manage defects using Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Coordinate defect analysis and resolution with development and business teams.
- Support Salesforce deployments and conduct post-release validation.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and review test deliverables.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide updates on testing status, risks, dependencies, and quality.
- Use approved AI-assisted testing tools for test-case generation, test-data preparation, requirements analysis, regression coverage, defect analysis, and test reporting.
- Review and validate AI-generated outputs before using them in project deliverables.
- Follow applicable information-security and data-privacy standards.
Required Skills
- 6–8 years of experience in Salesforce QA/testing.
- Mandatory: Life & Annuity insurance domain experience.
- Experience leading QA teams or managing Salesforce testing workstreams.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Functional Testing
- Regression Testing
- Integration Testing
- System Testing
- API Testing
- UAT
- Strong understanding of Salesforce application testing.
- Experience testing Salesforce configuration and custom development.
- Hands-on experience with Postman/SoapUI or similar API testing tools.
- Experience with Jira/Azure DevOps for defect and test management.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools and techniques.
Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Salesforce QA professional with strong Life & Annuity insurance experience, proven QA leadership capabilities, and the ability to work closely with Salesforce developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹110,000.00 per month
