Dear Candidate,
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee the company's financial operations and ensure accurate accounting, statutory compliance, and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, GST, TDS,and financial reconciliation, with the ability to work independently and support management in financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping and maintain financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances, including timely filing of returns.
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, customer accounts, and inter-company transactions.
- Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities during audits and assessments.
- Monitor cash flow and assist management in budgeting and financial planning.
- Process payroll and ensure statutory deductions and compliance with labor laws.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement effective financial controls.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable laws.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com); M.Com or MBA (Finance) is preferred.
- CA Inter or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 4–7 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, payroll, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis).
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in audit coordination and financial compliance.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior accounting staff.
