Role Description- Please note that this NOT a salaried role. Your income will be a percentage of the value of the deal closed. The sales executive will be free to work in this role along with any other full time or part time employment he/she already has or is willing to take in future. This is a remote Sales Executive role. However, upon exceptional performance after 6 months, this can be converted into a full time role. The Sales Executive will identify, prospect, and build relationships with potential advertisers, sponsors, and partners within the startup, business, technology, and marketing ecosystem. On a day-to-day basis, this role will conduct outreach via email, calls, and virtual meetings; understand client needs; and propose tailored advertising, sponsorship, and content partnership packages. The Sales Executive will manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, pitching, negotiation, closing, and post-sale follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and renewal opportunities.

**2. Lead generation(finding new clients) will be the responsibility of the sales executive. The company will not provide any data(emails, phone numbers). However, training material based on current best practices to understand more about our target industry will be shared with the selected applicant for operational efficiency.**
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally in media, digital publishing, advertising, or related industries would be a plus. In case of no experience, willingness to work in a dynamic environment.
Strong consultative selling skills, including prospecting, needs analysis, solution presentation, negotiation, and closing.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present value propositions clearly to clients at various seniority levels.
Comfort working in a fully remote environment, with strong self-management, time management, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with the startup ecosystem, digital marketing, and online media advertising formats (e.g., sponsored content, display ads, newsletters) is strongly preferred.
Comfortable with using basic sales analytics to track pipelines, forecast revenue, and report performance.
Ability to build long-term client relationships, deliver high-quality service, and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
Bachelor’s degree
