Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Nursing Superintendent to lead and manage the nursing services of the hospital. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, clinical expertise, and hospital administration skills to ensure high standards of patient care, nursing excellence, and compliance with NABH standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and manage all nursing operations across the hospital.
- Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and patient-centered nursing care.
- Plan nursing manpower, duty rosters, and staff deployment.
- Monitor nursing practices and ensure compliance with NABH standards, infection control protocols, and hospital policies.
- Conduct nursing audits, quality improvement initiatives, and staff performance evaluations.
- Coordinate recruitment, orientation, training, and competency assessment of nursing staff.
- Collaborate with consultants, department heads, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Handle patient grievances related to nursing services and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain nursing records, reports, and regulatory documentation.
- Ensure efficient utilization of nursing resources and promote continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing.
- Valid State Nursing Council Registration.
- Minimum 8–10 years of nursing experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role as Nursing Superintendent, Deputy Nursing Superintendent, or Nursing Manager in a multi-speciality hospital.
