Structural BIM Engineer (Infrastructure – Roads & Bridges)

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Structural BIM Engineer with experience in infrastructure projects, particularly roads and bridges, to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and coordinating high-quality BIM models, producing structural drawings, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects in accordance with project standards and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain structural BIM models for roads, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.
- Prepare detailed structural models, drawings, and documentation using Revit.
- Coordinate with civil, architectural, MEP, and other disciplines to resolve design clashes.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and support clash detection using Navisworks.
- Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, client requirements, and company procedures.
- Extract quantities, schedules, and reports from BIM models.
- Review and update models based on design revisions and engineering comments.
- Collaborate with project engineers and BIM managers to ensure timely project delivery.
- Maintain model accuracy, quality, and version control throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- 3–8 years of experience in Structural BIM modeling/engineering.
- Strong experience in infrastructure projects, including roads and bridges.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Structure).
- Good knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
- Experience with AutoCAD and BIM workflows.
- Understanding of structural engineering drawings and construction methodologies.
- Familiarity with BIM standards such as ISO 19650 is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple project deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on GCC/UAE infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of Civil 3D or OpenRoads is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach to coordination and project delivery.
