Job Purpose:
To support business growth by generating leads, managing customer relationships, promoting company products/services, conducting market research, and coordinating with internal teams for successful order execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential customers.
- Generate enquiries and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Conduct market research to understand customer requirements and competitor activities.
- Coordinate with customers for quotations, proposals, and follow-ups.
- Support the sales team in achieving business targets.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations to customers when required.
- Maintain regular communication with existing clients to build long-term relationships.
- Coordinate with design, production, and operations teams for customer requirements and project execution.
- Participate in exhibitions, industrial events, and promotional activities.
- Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports on enquiries, sales activities, and customer feedback.
- Manage CRM records and maintain updated customer databases.
- Support digital marketing activities, website updates, and social media promotion (if applicable).
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- MBA (Marketing) preferred. (Any Graduate with Good communication and interpersonal skills with similar experience can also considered)
Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in marketing/business development, preferably in manufacturing industry.
Skills Required:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Customer relationship management.
- Market analysis and lead generation.
- Knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial products.
- Presentation and coordination skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in B2B marketing.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and exhibitions.
