Business Development Executive – Telecom (IP-1 / OFC)

About the Role
Diode Infra Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced and dynamic Business Development Executive with a strong background in the Telecom Infrastructure industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) projects and a good understanding of the IP-1 business, telecom infrastructure leasing, and enterprise connectivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand the company's IP-1 infrastructure business.
- Generate new business opportunities with Telecom Service Providers (TSPs), ISPs, Government organizations, Smart City projects, and enterprise customers.
- Promote telecom infrastructure solutions, including OFC leasing, dark fiber, ducts, poles, and related infrastructure.
- Identify new customers and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, presentations, and business agreements.
- Coordinate with internal technical and operations teams for project execution.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close business deals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming telecom opportunities.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in Telecom Business Development.
- Strong knowledge of OFC networks, telecom infrastructure, and IP-1 business.
- Experience working with telecom operators, ISPs, infrastructure providers, or system integrators.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Preferred Experience
- Experience in OFC leasing, dark fiber, right-of-way (RoW), telecom infrastructure sharing, or Smart City projects.
- Existing industry contacts with telecom operators and enterprise customers will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of telecom regulations and infrastructure business models.
