Job Summary:
We are seeking a Project Manager with strong experience in steel and mechanical works to oversee execution, planning, and delivery of projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, ensuring quality compliance, controlling costs, and maintaining project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end execution of steel/mechanical projects including fabrication, erection, and installation.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams.
- Monitor site progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality norms, and statutory regulations.
- Handle subcontractors, workforce planning, and productivity optimization.
- Review drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications for execution clarity.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, billing details, and project documentation.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Resolve on-site technical and operational issues efficiently.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 10–15 years of experience in steel/mechanical project execution.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication, erection, welding, and structural works.
- Familiarity with industrial projects (refineries, power plants, infrastructure, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and project specifications.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, or similar planning tools.
