Job Summary
Ecostan India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead the after-sales service department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing service operations, handling customer support, leading a team of service engineers, and ensuring timely installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day service operations and after-sales support
- Lead and supervise the service team to ensure timely customer support
- Coordinate installation, commissioning, maintenance, and breakdown services
- Handle customer complaints and provide effective technical solutions
- Plan preventive maintenance schedules and monitor service activities
- Coordinate with production, dispatch, and spare parts departments
- Maintain service records, reports, and customer feedback
- Ensure timely availability of spare parts for service requirements
- Monitor service performance and implement process improvements
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
- Minimum 8 years of experience in service operations, preferably in industrial machinery or manufacturing
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment
- Experience in installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Team management and leadership skills
- Excellent customer handling and communication skills
- Planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software
- Willingness to travel for customer support when required
