Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented 2D Designer with a minimum of 1.5 years of experience in the modular furniture industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical layouts and production-ready drawings. Proficiency in Infurnia is a strong requirement for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Drafting: Create detailed 2D layouts, floor plans, elevations, and sections for modular kitchens, wardrobes, and other storage units using Infurnia.
- Technical Drawings: Prepare EPT (Execution & Production) drawings including electrical points, plumbing fixtures, and internal carcass details.
- Site Measurement: Analyze site measurements and translate them into accurate technical designs that adhere to practical feasibility.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Designers and the Production team to convert initial concepts into manufacturable drawings.
- Revisions: Manage design modifications based on client feedback or updated site measurements while maintaining accuracy and speed.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs follow ergonomic standards (e.g., the "Golden Triangle") and standard modular dimensions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of dedicated experience in the modular kitchen and wardrobe industry.
- Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Infurnia and a strong working knowledge of AutoCAD (2D).
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of materials (BWP/MDF), hardware (Blum, Hettich, Hafele), and construction techniques.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to create error-free production drawings to minimize on-site issues.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and clarifying technical queries.
Education:
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
