About the Opportunity
Our client, a reputed shopping mall and premium retail destination in Bhubaneswar, is looking for an experienced and highly professional Assistant Mall Manager to support the overall management and operations of the mall.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in mall operations, excellent stakeholder management skills, a polished professional personality, and the ability to manage multiple operational functions while ensuring a superior customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Mall Manager in managing end-to-end mall operations.
- Oversee daily operations including housekeeping, security, engineering, parking, customer service, and facility management.
- Ensure smooth functioning of common areas and maintain high operational standards.
- Coordinate with tenants and retail brands for operational requirements and issue resolution.
- Support tenant onboarding, store openings, fit-outs, and handover activities.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with defined SLAs.
- Ensure implementation of safety, security, and emergency response protocols.
- Support statutory compliance requirements including fire safety and other regulatory norms.
- Assist in preparation of operational budgets, cost control initiatives, and MIS reports.
- Coordinate with marketing teams for mall events, promotions, and customer engagement activities.
- Handle customer feedback and ensure timely resolution of complaints.
- Support team management and coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders.
Candidate Profile (Mandatory Requirements)
- Candidate must have prior experience working in a Shopping Mall environment.
- Experience from reputed mall operators, retail real estate companies, or premium commercial properties is preferred.
- 6–12 years of experience in mall operations / retail property management.
- Strong understanding of:
- Mall operations
- Tenant management
- Facility management
- Vendor management
- Customer experience management
- Safety & compliance processes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong professional grooming and executive presence.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders including retailers, vendors, customers, and senior management.

Compensation
CTC : Up to ₹18 LPA (Negotiable for the right candidate)
