Job Summary
Major Industries is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Sales Executive to promote and sell Cement Concrete Blocks, Interlocking Tiles, Kerb Stones (Kerbstones), Paver Blocks, and other construction products. The ideal candidate should be confident in meeting customers, generating new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell Cement Concrete Blocks, Interlocking Tiles, Kerb Stones, Paver Blocks, and related products.
- Identify and develop new customers, dealers, contractors, builders, architects, and construction companies.
- Generate enquiries through field visits, cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct product presentations and explain product features and benefits.
- Prepare quotations and follow up with customers until order closure.
- Coordinate with production and dispatch teams for timely delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to business growth.
- Collect market intelligence regarding competitors, pricing, and customer requirements.
- Prepare daily visit reports and submit regular sales updates.
Required Skills
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated with a target-oriented approach.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
- Ability to travel locally for customer visits.
- Knowledge of the construction or building materials industry will be an added advantage.
Preferred Qualification
- Minimum: 10+2 (Higher Secondary)
- Graduate in any discipline preferred.
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Civil Engineering will be an advantage.
NOTE:- Should have vehicle and driving license
