Job Description: Investment Banking Analyst – Infrastructure & Capital Markets

Experience: 2–4 Years
Role Purpose
Support debt syndication, project finance, infrastructure finance, valuation, analysis, financial modelling, credit appraisal and preparation of transaction documents.
Key Responsibilities
· Credit appraisal of working capital, term loan and project finance proposals.
· Analyse financial statements, cash flows, fund flows and borrower creditworthiness.
· Prepare CMA data, credit notes, TEV inputs and loan proposals.
· Build integrated financial models, project finance models, DCF and sensitivity analyses.
· Support valuation assignments using DCF, comparable companies and precedent transactions.
· Support M&A assignments including financial analysis, information memorandum, due diligence and data room management.
· Analyse BOT, HAM, TOT, EPC, InvIT and renewable energy projects.
· Evaluate concession agreements, toll forecasts, O&M costs, major maintenance reserves, DSCR, IRR and NPV.
· Coordinate with banks, NBFCs, AIFs, PE funds and pension funds.
· Prepare pitch books, investment memoranda and management presentations.
· Conduct research on infrastructure, banking, RBI regulations and capital markets.
· Leverage AI tools to improve productivity.
Skills
· Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word
· Financial modelling and valuation
· Strong analytical and communication skills
· Knowledge of banking products (CC, BG, LC, ECB, Bill Discounting)
· Understanding of infrastructure finance
· Exposure to AI tools (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
· CA / CA Inter / MBA Finance / CFA Level I or II / B.Com (Finance)
· Civil Engineer with finance exposure is an advantage
