Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and academically accomplished Assistant Professor in Psychology to join our institution. The ideal candidate will have strong subject expertise, a commitment to teaching and research, and the ability to engage and inspire students through contemporary, experiential, and interdisciplinary approaches to psychology.
The faculty member will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, mentoring students, contributing to research, curriculum development, and actively participating in the academic growth of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Psychology.
- Teach subjects related to Cognitive Psychology, Organizational Behaviour, HR Psychology, Positive Psychology, and Contemplative Psychology.
- Develop course curriculum, lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials.
- Conduct lectures, seminars, workshops, and practical sessions.
- Mentor and guide students in academic and research projects.
- Conduct and publish quality research in relevant areas of psychology.
- Participate in faculty development programmes, conferences, seminars, and academic activities.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of teaching methodologies.
- Support departmental initiatives, student engagement activities, and institutional responsibilities.
- Collaborate with other faculty members on interdisciplinary research and academic projects.
Qualifications & Eligibility
- Ph.D. in Psychology from a recognized university.
Pay: ₹13,061.27 - ₹70,658.30 per month
