About the Role
We are looking for a presentable, well-organized, and customer-focused Receptionist to manage our front desk and be the first point of contact for clients, tenants, brokers, vendors, and visitors. This role is central to creating a strong first impression for a corporate real estate business where walk-in clients, site-visit coordination, and professional presentation matter every day.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Visitor Management
- Greet and welcome clients, prospective buyers/tenants, brokers, and visitors warmly and professionally.
- Maintain the visitor log, issue visitor passes, and coordinate with building security for entry/exit.
- Direct walk-in property enquiries to the appropriate Sales, Leasing, or Relationship Manager.
Communication Handling
- Manage incoming calls via EPABX/board line, screen and route calls to the relevant department.
- Handle general email enquiries at the front desk and forward to concerned teams.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments, client meetings, and conference/meeting room bookings, including for site visits.
Administrative Support
- Manage incoming/outgoing courier, post, and document dispatch; maintain a dispatch register.
- Maintain basic records — visitor logs, courier logs, stationery stock, and pantry supplies.
- Assist with filing and maintaining property, client, and lease-related documentation (with confidentiality).
- Support travel, cab, and site-visit logistics coordination as required.
- Maintain petty cash records for office/front-desk expenses, if assigned.
Office Presentation & Coordination
- Ensure the reception and waiting area are always tidy, presentable, and stocked with collaterals/brochures.
- Coordinate with facility/housekeeping/admin teams for upkeep of the front office and meeting rooms.
- Support smooth coordination between visiting clients and internal teams (Sales, Leasing, Operations, HR).
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline; a diploma/certificate in office administration is an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a receptionist, front-office, or guest-relations role; exposure to real estate or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication in English and Bengali; working knowledge of Hindi preferred.
- Pleasant, professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and customer-service orientation.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and EPABX/telephone systems.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and stay composed during busy front-desk hours.

Work Details

- Compensation: Indicative range ₹15,000 per month depending on experience; to be finalized as per company policy
