Job Title: IT Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Engineer to manage and maintain the institute's IT infrastructure, provide technical support, and ensure the smooth functioning of hardware, software, networks, and other IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, printers, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Manage LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and network devices.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and application software.
- Monitor system performance and ensure data security through regular backups.
- Maintain servers, CCTV systems, biometric attendance devices, and IP telephony (if applicable).
- Provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students.
- Maintain IT inventory and documentation of assets.
- Coordinate with external vendors for AMC, repairs, and procurement.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.
- Assist in implementing new IT projects and technology upgrades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, B.Tech (CSE/IT), BCA, MCA, or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience (Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply).
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Networking concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Server administration and data backup.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity and antivirus management.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and remote support tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with firewall configuration and network security.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies and cloud platforms.
- Experience with CCTV, biometric attendance systems, and ERP supporT
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month
