To support the logistics department in the day-to-day management of warehouse operations, including customer order fulfilment and associated processes, while ensuring a high standard of service to both internal stakeholders and external customers and suppliers. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, managing stock control, and handling specialized packing requirements, including temperature-sensitive shipments, to ensure product quality and compliance with operational standards. Additionally, the position contributes to the development and implementation of a scalable logistics strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Effectively manage the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and team through the operational team leaders.
o Manage the returns to the Warehouse and ensure items are dealt with promptly and returned to stock/supplier.
o Responsible for investigating stock discrepancies, including negatives, unfound and sold out, and reporting the information to relevant stakeholder.
o Carry out regular stock tasks and report on results.
o Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels in the warehouse.
o Ensure the warehouse is compliant with current Health and Safety regulations and that the warehouse team is trained appropriately.
o Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams for stock planning.
o Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of goods.
o Track slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged stock and report accordingly.
Handle repacking of frozen and ambient goods as per required standards.
