Role Overview
Work closely with the Director – Growth & Strategy to drive business development, partnerships, sponsorships, user acquisition and ecosystem growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboard chess coaches, academies and clubs.
- Build relationships with schools, colleges, corporates and chess communities.
- Develop and manage the Chess Veda Campus Ambassador Program.
- Coordinate with tournament organisers and onboard events to Chess Veda.
- Promote Chess Veda as the preferred tournament registration platform.
- Represent Chess Veda at tournaments, exhibitions, meetings and networking events.
- Develop Corporate Chess Leagues through partnerships with organisations for employee engagement, inter corporate championships and wellness initiatives.
- Build relationships with HR, CSR and Employee Engagement teams.
- Identify sponsors, prepare proposals and support partnership meetings.
- Support marketing campaigns to increase app downloads, registrations and engagement. Manage partner onboarding and relationship management.
- Maintain CRM, reports and coordinate with Growth, Marketing, Product and Operations teams.
Travel Regular travel for tournaments, schools, colleges, corporate meetings, sponsorship discussions and promotional events is an integral part of this role.
Desired Skills
- Excellent communication, networking and negotiation skills.
- Sales/BD experience preferred.
- Self-driven, organised and willing to travel.
KPIs
Coach/club onboarding, campus ambassadors, tournament organisers, sponsorships, corporate leagues, registrations, app downloads, revenue and partner retention.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
