We're are hiring For Medical Coder Trainee (Fresher)
Location: Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu
Job description
- Must be able to recognize key details in a patient record in order to apply the appropriate codes
- Reviews the documentation in patient's medical records and translates the same into universally accepted, industry standard medical codes
- Understand basic coding guidelines and ability to interpret Super bills & Medical records for ICD-10, CPT & HCPCS
- To code charts based on standard coding tools (AAPC coding manuals & Super coder)
- To check with Team Leader for any client updates
- Meeting all set productivity and quality targets including TAT
- Identify issues and escalate the same to the Team Leader/Manager
- Update Production logs
- Adherence to company policies, rules and regulations
- To follow quality processes using checklists
- Adherence to HIPAA guidelines
Eligibility
- Good knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Microbiology & Medical Terminologies
- Basic keyboard skills
Certification:
CPC /CIC/ CCS Certification is Mandatory
Working days and shifts:
Day Shift
5 days + Alternative saturday Working day
