We are inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals for contractual positions under a Government Health Programme. The engagement involves supporting health education, health promotion, research, training, communication, information technology, multimedia and programme administration activities.
1. Consultant – Public Health
No. of Post: 1
Salary: ₹60,000 – ₹1,50,000 per month
Maximum Age: 50 years
Qualification & Experience:
- MBBS with MD in Community Medicine/Preventive & Social Medicine (PSM)/MPH; OR
- BDS/BAMS/BVSc/BPT/Life Sciences graduate with Postgraduate qualification in Public Health, Community Health or Epidemiology.
- Candidates without MD in Community Medicine/PSM/Community Health should have at least 2 years of post-qualification Public Health experience.
- Experience in community-based activities, health systems/public health work and research will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and statistical/analytical software.
- Good oral, presentation, report-writing and proposal-writing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Health Education and Health Promotion activities.
- Coordinate with State authorities, Programme Officers, institutions and stakeholders.
- Support planning, implementation and evaluation of health promotion programmes.
- Develop health education and health promotion materials.
- Analyse data and present findings.
- Support capacity building of medical/paramedical personnel.
- Prepare briefing documents, analytical frameworks, proposals and presentations.
- Undertake other assignments as required.
2. Consultant – Training
No. of Post: 1
Salary: ₹60,000 – ₹1,50,000 per month
Maximum Age: 50 years
Qualification & Experience:
- Postgraduate Degree in Public Health, Social Science, Health Management, Social Work, Health Administration, Business Administration, Life Sciences, Health Informatics, Developmental Studies, Anthropology or MBA in Health Management.
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in developing training modules, training materials, presentations, training plans and training calendars and conducting training in the health sector.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of computers, Internet and ICT is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop training guidelines, plans, modules, manuals and resource materials.
- Plan and conduct training programmes at national, state and district levels.
- Evaluate training requirements and training effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain training calendars.
- Develop innovative training methodologies including e-learning.
- Design and implement e-courses.
- Collect, analyse and compile training data.
- Prepare comprehensive training reports.
- Coordinate with training institutions and other stakeholders.
3. Consultant – Research
No. of Post: 1
Salary: ₹60,000 – ₹1,50,000 per month
Maximum Age: 50 years
Qualification & Experience:
- Master's Degree in Public Health, Life Sciences, Health Economics, Statistics, Sociology or Psychology.
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification research experience as JRF/SRF/RA or equivalent.
- At least two publications in indexed journals.
- Experience in conducting health research.
- Knowledge of quantitative, qualitative and mixed-method research.
- Experience in research proposal development and research report writing.
- Knowledge of research ethics and Ethics Committee procedures.
- Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and statistical/analytical packages.
- PhD and publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals will be desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and design research strategies and study plans.
- Develop questionnaires and research protocols.
- Collect, verify and analyse research data.
- Coordinate with agencies for field data collection.
- Conduct surveys and other data-collection activities.
- Interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Prepare research reports, reviews, summaries and presentations.
- Prepare analytical frameworks, conceptual papers and briefing documents.
- Support capacity building of medical/paramedical personnel.
- Support publication of research findings in journals.
4. Consultant – IEC / Communication
No. of Post: 1
Salary: ₹90,000 – ₹1,50,000 per month
Maximum Age: 50 years
Qualification & Experience:
- Postgraduate Degree in Mass Communication, Communication Design, Graphic Design, Animation, Public Relations, Journalism, Community Health Administration, Social Sciences or Public Health.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience at State/National level in advocacy, information and communication related to social development, preferably health.
- Strong analytical, writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Knowledge of IT-based communication and knowledge-sharing platforms.
- Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in English and Hindi.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop print, audio-visual, social-media and technology-based IEC materials.
- Develop communication campaigns and health promotion materials.
- Support publications, exhibitions, conferences and health-related events.
- Coordinate design, printing, translation and editing activities.
- Develop e-publications, newsletters, magazines, annual reports and eBooks.
- Develop social media strategies and web content.
- Monitor and evaluate communication campaigns.
- Maintain publication records, databases and IEC/BCC repositories.
- Support IEC activities at exhibitions, fairs, health melas and conferences.
5. Consultant – Social Science
No. of Post: 1
Salary: ₹60,000 – ₹1,50,000 per month
Maximum Age: 50 years
Qualification & Experience:
- Postgraduate Degree in Social Sciences or Social Work.
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in the Health Sector.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
- Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Health Education and Health Promotion activities.
- Assist in planning, designing, developing and evaluating health promotion materials.
- Conduct social and field research using quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Conduct household surveys, key-informant interviews, focus groups and other field research.
- Supervise and monitor community-based activities.
- Collect and analyse data and prepare reports.
- Plan, coordinate and organise community outreach activities.
- Prepare technical reports.
- Undertake other assignments as required.
6. Consultant – IT
No. of Post: 1
Salary: ₹60,000 – ₹1,20,000 per month
Maximum Age: 45 years
Qualification & Experience:
- MS/M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electronics / MCA; OR
- MBA in Information Technology/System; OR
- B.Tech in IT/Computer Science/Bioinformatics/Electronics with full-time MBA.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge of web-based software, office automation, security software and communication technologies.
- Knowledge of LAN, WAN, routers, switches, fibre optic, wireless technology, CCTV and video-conferencing systems.
- Knowledge of government portals such as e-Office, PFMS, e-HRMS, e-Awas, CPPP and related systems.
- Knowledge of basic cyber-security functions.
- Good communication, organisational and time-management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage IT systems, applications, hardware and software.
- Support IT system implementation, upgrades and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot desktop, networking and software issues.
- Manage and maintain website content.
- Maintain audio-video and video-conferencing facilities.
- Support cloud infrastructure and related portals.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and backups.
- Manage AMC, insurance, warranty and IT-related contracts.
- Identify security threats and support cyber-security activities.
- Ensure smooth functioning of telephone, FTTH, Wi-Fi and communication systems.
- Provide support for e-portals and train staff in using various platforms.
7. Multimedia Designer
No. of Post: 1
Salary: ₹55,000 per month
Maximum Age: 45 years
Qualification & Experience:
- BFA/Graduation in Graphic Design, Advertising, Design Arts or related field with 3 years' experience; OR
- Diploma in Multimedia/Graphic Designing/Advertising or related field with 5 years' experience.
- Hands-on experience in Photoshop, illustration, CorelDRAW or other publishing tools.
- Knowledge of animation and ability to create GIFs is highly desirable.
- Experience in health/allied fields will be preferred.
- Knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Adobe applications.
- Experience in designing posters, charts, social media posts and eBooks will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualise visual designs based on requirements.
- Create graphics and visual communication materials.
- Develop illustrations, logos, website and social-media graphics.
- Design e-publications.
- Design newsletters, annual reports, workshop/training reports, banners, posters and IEC materials.
- Modify designs based on feedback.
- Review designs for errors before publishing/printing.
- Coordinate with printing agencies.
8. Programme Assistant
No. of Post: 1
Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month
Maximum Age: 45 years
Qualification & Experience:
- Graduation in any discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in programme/office work.
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
- High proficiency in data management, computers and Internet usage.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of statistical packages is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and programme support.
- Assist with health promotion studies, project proposals and stakeholder coordination.
- Collect and compile technical inputs from programme divisions.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments.
- Coordinate workshops, training programmes, community outreach activities and campaigns.
- Prepare reports and minutes of meetings.
- Support implementation of multi-centric research studies.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and project implementation partners.
- Collect regular data, reports and updates.
- Undertake other programme-related assignments as required.
General Terms & Conditions
- Nature of Employment: Full-time contractual engagement.
- Initial Contract: 1 year, extendable/curtailable based on performance and organisational requirements.
- Working Hours: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM on working days, including a 30-minute lunch break.
- Consultants cannot undertake another assignment during the contractual engagement.
- Income tax and other applicable taxes will be deducted as per prevailing rules.
- No HRA, TA/DA or residential accommodation is provided in addition to the consolidated remuneration.
- Candidates may be required to work on Saturdays, Sundays or gazetted holidays when required, with compensatory off as applicable.
- Confidentiality of official data, documents and information must be maintained.
- The engagement is subject to the applicable terms and conditions of the assignment.
