We are seeking a highly experienced professional with 12+ years of expertise in Linux systems, proxy solutions, and remote access VPN technologies. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing secure remote access and proxy infrastructure in enterprise environments.
- Design, implement, and manage network and cloud security solutions.
- Design, implement, and manage Linux-based network and security solutions.
- Configure and maintain Squid Proxy servers for secure and efficient web access.
- Deploy and manage Remote Access VPN solutions (Cisco, Fortinet, OpenVPN).
- Ensure secure remote connectivity for users while maintaining compliance with security policies.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security of infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to Linux systems, proxy servers, and VPN connectivity.
- Implement security best practices, patches, and system hardening.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure and security projects.
- Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to organizational standards.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in Linux administration and network security.
- Strong hands-on experience with Squid Proxy.
- Extensive experience with Remote Access VPN technologies (Cisco, Fortinet, OpenVPN).
- Good understanding of network security concepts and protocols.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience in system hardening and security best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with automation/scripting (Shell, Python).
- Exposure to cloud environments and hybrid infrastructure.
- Relevant certifications (RHCE, CCNP/CCIE Security, etc.) are a plus.
