As we continue to grow, we're looking for a hands-on Shopify expert who can manage both technical development and day-to-day eCommerce operations.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Shopify Developer & eCommerce Operations Specialist.
You will own the technical development, maintenance, and day-to-day operations of the Shopify platform. This role combines Shopify development with catalog management, seller onboarding, inventory management, merchandising, and marketplace operations.
You will work closely with product, marketing, operations, and marketplace teams to ensure a seamless shopping experience while supporting the onboarding of new sellers and products.
Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes and storefront functionality
- Build and maintain Shopify apps, custom features, and API integrations
- Manage product catalog, collections, variants, pricing, inventory, and merchandising
- Support seller onboarding, including product imports, images, attributes, metafields, and data validation
- Configure and troubleshoot Shopify Markets, international pricing, taxes, and shipping
- Maintain product feeds for Google Merchant Center, Meta Commerce, Pinterest, TikTok Shop, and other marketing channels
- Configure and optimize Shopify Flow, Shopify Functions, and automation workflows
- Manage Klaviyo email marketing integrations and customer segmentation
- Monitor storefront performance, SEO, Core Web Vitals, and conversion optimization
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement enhancements
- Collaborate with design, marketing, and operations teams to continuously improve the customer experience
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Shopify development experience
- Strong expertise in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON templates
- Experience with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL, and REST APIs
- Experience with Shopify Markets and international commerce
- Experience managing large product catalogs and collections
- Experience with product imports, exports, and bulk data management
- Experience with pricing, inventory, and variant management
- Experience onboarding products from multiple sellers or vendors
- Experience configuring metafields and metaobjects
- Experience with Google Merchant Center and product feed optimization
- Experience with Meta Commerce Manager product feeds
- Experience integrating third-party Shopify applications
- Experience with Klaviyo
- Strong Git and GitHub experience
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
