About the Role
We are looking for a strategic, result-oriented, and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the organization's daily operations and drive business growth. The COO will work closely with the CEO/Managing Director to implement business strategies, optimize operational efficiency, improve profitability, and ensure the achievement of organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:-
Lead and manage the company's day-to-day operations across all departments.
Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
Monitor and improve operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track organizational performance.
Drive process improvement initiatives and digital transformation projects.
Ensure effective coordination among departments including Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
Prepare and manage operational budgets and optimize resource utilization.
Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Build, mentor, and lead high-performing leadership teams.
Collaborate with the CEO/MD on strategic planning, business expansion, and organizational development.
Present operational reports, forecasts, and recommendations to the Board and senior management.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:-
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
12–20+ years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior operational leadership role.
Proven experience managing large teams and cross-functional operations.

Preferred Experience:-
Experience in Manufacturing, Automobile, Logistics, Engineering, FMCG, Retail, Healthcare, or Capital Goods industries.
Proven track record of scaling operations and improving business performance.
Experience in implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence initiatives is an advantage.
