Position: Science Teacher (IGCSE)

Job Summary
The Science Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality Science education in accordance with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum. The teacher will foster scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and practical learning through engaging lessons, laboratory activities, and continuous assessment while supporting the overall academic and personal development of students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum.
- Teach General Science, Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics as per the assigned grades and syllabus requirements.
- Conduct practical laboratory sessions and ensure adherence to laboratory safety procedures.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, projects, and assessments.
- Monitor, evaluate, and record student progress through formative and summative assessments.
- Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance and development.
- Prepare students for Cambridge Checkpoint, IGCSE examinations, and internal assessments.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning abilities and learning styles.
- Integrate technology and inquiry-based learning methodologies into classroom teaching.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
- Contribute to science exhibitions, clubs, competitions, and other co-curricular activities.
- Maintain accurate academic records and submit reports as required by the school administration.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or related field).
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in IGCSE/Cambridge/International Curriculum schools.
- Strong understanding of Cambridge Assessment International Education frameworks and examination patterns.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Ability to use educational technology and digital teaching tools effectively.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
