About the Role
ARTS is promoting 35 Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) across Andhra Pradesh, supporting farmer-owned enterprises in procurement, aggregation, processing, value addition, marketing, and rural entrepreneurship. The Rural Enterprise Management Intern will work directly with Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and gain practical exposure to agribusiness operations, financial management, marketing, and enterprise development.
This position offers a unique opportunity to learn grassroots business management while contributing to sustainable rural development and farmer prosperity.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Operations
- Support procurement, aggregation, and marketing activities of FPOs.
- Monitor stock movement, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
- Assist in business planning and enterprise development.
- Track purchase, sales, and profitability of FPO business activities.
Finance, Accounts & Auditing
- Maintain financial records and documentation.
- Assist in bookkeeping, accounting, and auditing processes.
- Support preparation of financial reports, budgets, and business plans.
- Monitor cash flow, stock registers, and transaction records.
Marketing & Business Development
- Develop market linkages for FPO products.
- Conduct market research and buyer identification.
- Support branding, packaging, and promotional activities.
- Assist in sales campaigns and customer relationship management.
Product Development (For Home Science / Food Technology Candidates)
- Develop millet-based food products and beverages.
- Standardize recipes and product formulations.
- Support packaging, labeling, and quality assurance.
- Conduct consumer testing and market assessments.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Prepare field reports and business performance reports.
- Analyze procurement, sales, and market trends.
- Document success stories and impact assessments.
Pay: ₹3,000.00 - ₹5,000.00 per month
