Introduction
We are seeking a Procurement Manager to join our Foundry Procurement Consumables team. This position will be responsible for managing the procurement of foundry raw materials, scrap, alloys, consumables, maintenance-related items, CAPEX requirements, subcontracting services, and other procurement categories. The role includes supplier negotiations, material availability planning, inventory management, analytics, price indexing, and end-to-end SAP-related procurement activities.
Your role will be crucial in managing and developing procurement within the Consumables Business Area, contributing significantly to business performance, operational efficiency, and supply chain sustainability.
In this position, you will report to the Head of CNS Procurement, India .
This position is primarily located in Ahmedabad .

What You'll Do
Manage procurement activities related to foundry raw materials, consumables, maintenance materials, and services required for foundry operations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives through vendor development, business requirement facilitation, financial performance optimization, and material availability to maximize plant output.
Manage a large supplier base and drive key performance indicators related to cost, sustainability, audit compliance, and delivery performance.
Monitor market intelligence, conduct analytics, and implement strategic actions to meet business requirements.
Manage SAP master data, process compliance, and system utilization, along with reporting and analytics for various business needs.
Handle contract management for services, manpower, machining, operational requirements, and other business needs.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Stay updated on technological advancements and best practices in inventory management and procurement.
Who You Are
Bachelor's Degree (BE/B.Tech) in Engineering or a Diploma in Engineering with relevant experience.
10+ years of experience in strategic procurement, supplier relationship management, and vendor development.
Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, JAGGAER, market intelligence tools, and procurement analytics.
Strong analytical skills with a high-performance mindset.
Ability to meet challenging deadlines and deliver results in dynamic and demanding environments.
Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and timeliness.
Strong stakeholder management, coordination, collaboration, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
