Junior SEO & WordPress Executive – Part-Time

India Working Hours: 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM IST during UK Summer Time / 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM IST during UK Winter Time

About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and technically knowledgeable Junior SEO & WordPress Executive to join our team on a part-time basis.
We currently have three websites, including a new WordPress website that is currently under development.
The successful candidate will initially focus on helping us complete the website currently under development, including WordPress-related tasks, website optimisation, and implementing the SEO foundations.
Once the initial website is completed, the role will focus on ongoing SEO, optimisation, and improvements across all three websites.
We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of SEO, WordPress, technical SEO, and basic web technologies, and who is willing to take responsibility for their work and contribute ideas.
Key ResponsibilitiesWordPress & Website Development
- Work on our WordPress website currently under development.
- Help complete and improve the website based on agreed requirements.
- Assist with website structure, pages, navigation, content, and basic functionality.
- Identify and fix basic website issues.
- Ensure the website is mobile-friendly and user-friendly.
- Optimise website performance and loading speed.
- Assist with technical improvements where required.
SEO
- Develop and implement SEO strategies for our websites.
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Perform on-page SEO optimisation.
- Optimise page titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, images, and content.
- Improve internal linking and website structure.
- Work on technical SEO, including crawling, indexing, sitemaps, robots.txt, and other relevant areas.
- Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals and website performance.
- Use Google Search Console and Google Analytics to monitor website performance.
- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and other important SEO metrics.
- Identify SEO issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Research and implement current SEO best practices.
- Help improve organic search visibility and traffic over time.
Daily Working & Activity Updates
This role requires consistent daily availability and communication.
The successful candidate must:
- Be available for 4 hours every working day, Monday to Friday.
- Work during the agreed working hours of 10:00 AM–2:00 PM UK time.
- Actively work on assigned tasks during those hours.
- Provide a daily activity update at the end of each working day.
- Clearly report what has been completed each day.
- Mention tasks that are still in progress.
- Highlight any problems, technical issues, or information required.
- Keep the team informed of progress and communicate promptly when clarification is needed.
- Meet agreed deadlines and maintain consistent progress.
Daily reporting is an important part of this position. We want to have a clear understanding of what work has been completed each day and the progress being made.
First-Month Performance Review
The first month will be treated as an initial working period.
At the end of the first month, the employee's performance will be reviewed.
The review may consider:
- Quality of work
- SEO knowledge and implementation
- WordPress skills
- Technical ability
- Productivity and progress
- Ability to complete assigned tasks
- Reliability and daily availability
- Consistency of work
- Quality of daily activity reports
- Communication
- Problem-solving ability

Continuation of the role after the first month will depend on performance, progress, and mutual suitability.
Requirements
- Good practical knowledge of SEO and WordPress.
- Understanding of technical SEO.
- Experience with on-page SEO and keyword research.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Knowledge of commonly used SEO tools.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is preferred.
- Basic understanding of website performance and technical optimisation.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Willingness to learn and improve.
- Ability to work consistently during the agreed 4-hour working period.
