What would you do? The Reporting Hub Analyst is responsible for the production, automation, and distribution of standard financial management and regulatory reporting on behalf of Group Finance. The role supports all Finance roles by centralizing repeatable reporting activities so that Financial controllers and FP&A teams can focus on review, judgement, control, analysis and challenge. The role operates within defined reporting standards, calendars and governance, using agreed reporting tools and data sources. Management Reports, for the scope of the Management Reporting Hub, are any recurring financial reports required to support the work of the Finance community including but not limited to R2R, Treasury, Tax, FP&A, Regulatory Reporting. It does not include Group Accounts or local Stat accounts preparation
What are we looking for? EXPERIENCE: • 5-7 Years of experience post-qualification in Finance & Accounting with a focus on FP&A and RTR at large organizations/ MNC • Prior experience in Finance or Tech Consulting preferred QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Graduate in B. Com, BBM, M.com, MBA or relevant field MUST HAVE SKILLS: • Experience in using reporting tools such as SAP AFO, APOS (report scheduling tool),SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI or similar enterprise reporting tools and ability learn and adapt to new tools. • Strong data handling, reconciliation and attention to detail skills. • Understanding of finance reporting, management information and reporting cycles. • Ability to follow defined standards, calendars and control requirements. • Good Accounting Skills & Sound understanding of Concepts & Principles. • Strong written and verbal English communication skills. • Advanced MS Excel GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS • Flexibility and Adaptability to a situation in quick time • Ability to work under pressure
Roles and Responsibilities: •ROLE AND RESPONSIBITIES: • Produce standard management reports in line with the agreed reporting catalogue and reporting calendar. • Extract and aggregate data from multiple approved sources to build and maintain reporting data models, ensuring a single version of the truth. • Operate automated reporting routines, including scheduled refresh, validation and distribution of recurring reports. • Maintain standard reporting templates, data models and dashboards once live. • Produce dashboards (e.g. revenue, cost, working capital, operational KPIs) to support performance review and control checks • Deliver ad hoc data extracts and reports in line with agreed priorities and service levels. • Run the management reporting timetable, coordinating data extraction, report production and distribution activities. • Help Business Units to address queries and find resolutions for issues • Ability to train and support junior team members Detailed Job Function: • Reconcile report outputs to source systems and ensure reported numbers are complete, accurate and consistent. • BAU ownership post-automation. The hub team members will be accountable for the preparation of their key reports. • Maintain a reporting catalogue. • Perform defined validation and reasonableness checks prior to report distribution. • Design, build and maintain reporting standards and templates. Build is triggered by governance and prioritization performed by the Team Leader • Ensure reporting outputs comply with defined controls, audit requirements and data governance standards. • Rationalize and retire obsolete reporting. • Explicit ownership of end-to-end reporting calendar execution. • Pre-distribution quality checks and reasonableness review • Maintain clear run instructions, data definitions and evidence to support audit and review. • Reconciling reports back to source systems and sharing/explaining bridges • Ability to handle client interactions independently and build effective stakeholder relationships. • Flagging data quality issues and maintaining a structured data-improvement backlog • Proactively communicate progress to management, escalate issues with clarity, and presents actionable solutions to senior stakeholders in a timely manner.
