Summary
UST is seeking an accomplished Senior Scrum Master / Project Manager with 18–20+ years of IT experience and extensive expertise in the Healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will lead large-scale Agile transformation initiatives, manage enterprise healthcare technology programs, and drive successful project delivery across cross-functional, distributed teams. This role requires deep expertise in Agile methodologies, program governance, stakeholder management, healthcare business processes, regulatory compliance, and strategic project execution.
The Opportunity
- Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Grooming.
- Coach Scrum Teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Lean Agile best practices.
- Drive Agile transformation initiatives and improve Agile maturity across teams.
- Remove impediments and foster high-performing, self-organized teams.
- Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives, metrics, and process optimization.
- Manage the complete project lifecycle from project initiation through deployment and production support.
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocation plans, and delivery roadmaps.
- Monitor project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
- Manage enterprise healthcare programs with multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Drive on-time, high-quality delivery aligned with organizational objectives and business priorities.
- Oversee project forecasting, financial tracking, capacity planning, and resource management.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, business stakeholders, product owners, architects, vendors, and delivery teams.
- Prepare executive dashboards, project status reports, risk registers, and governance reports.
- Facilitate decision-making, issue resolution, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders to ensure project success.

- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and organizational governance standards.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand healthcare workflows and support digital transformation initiatives.
- Drive operational excellence and healthcare modernization programs.
- Identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Ensure adherence to PMO governance frameworks, project management standards, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct project health assessments, quality reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support audit readiness, risk management, and regulatory compliance activities.
What You Need
- 18–20+ years of overall IT experience.
- 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Lead, Project Manager, or Program Manager.
- Extensive experience delivering enterprise Healthcare Technology projects.
- Strong expertise in:
- Agile Scrum
- Kanban
- SAFe
- Lean Agile
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proven experience managing large-scale, cross-functional, and geographically distributed teams.
- Expertise in project planning, budgeting, forecasting, resource management, and delivery governance.
- Strong experience with project management and collaboration tools, including:
- Jira
- Azure DevOps
- Rally
- Confluence
- Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, risk management, and problem-solving capabilities.

- Healthcare cloud transformation or enterprise modernization projects.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- Certified Healthcare Professional (preferred)
