Hiring: Solution Architect ( GCP)

We are looking for a highly experienced Solution Architect – GCP to lead the design, architecture, and governance of enterprise-scale cloud-native platforms. This role requires deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), microservices, API architecture, infrastructure automation, and cloud security. The ideal candidate will own the end-to-end solution architecture, ensuring scalability, resilience, performance, and seamless integration across systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the overall solution architecture for cloud-native applications on GCP.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performing architectures using Cloud Run, BigQuery, Cloud SQL/Firestore, and Google API Gateway.
- Architect microservices-based solutions and integration patterns with external systems, APIs, and identity providers.
- Establish High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and scalability strategies to meet enterprise SLAs.
- Implement secure cloud networking using VPCs, Private Service Connect (PSC), Cloud NAT, Firewalls, and IAM.
- Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform.
- Drive API governance, authentication, authorization, and security standards using OAuth 2.0 and modern security practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and DevOps teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Define cloud cost optimization and FinOps strategies to ensure efficient cloud utilization.
- Conduct architecture reviews, technology evaluations, and Build vs. Buy assessments.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Cloud Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong expertise in:
- Google Cloud Run
- BigQuery
- Cloud SQL / Firestore
- Google API Gateway
- Terraform
- Microservices Architecture
- Cloud Networking & Security
- Experience designing highly available, scalable, and resilient systems.
- Strong understanding of API security, OAuth 2.0, and Identity Providers such as Auth0 or Okta.
- Hands-on experience with serverless architectures, load balancing, networking, and system integration.
- Strong stakeholder management, architecture governance, and solution design capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Google Professional Cloud Architect (PCA) Certification.
- Experience migrating legacy applications to cloud-native GCP environments.
- Experience with high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems.
- Knowledge of FinOps, observability, monitoring, and cloud governance frameworks.
- Exposure to enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives.
