Job Description – Electrical Engineer (Commissioning)
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer – Commissioning for deployment at Angus Works to carry out the commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and servicing of EOT/ELL Cranes and associated electrical systems. The candidate should possess strong expertise in Drives, PLCs, VFDs, and Automation Systems used in material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commissioning, testing, and servicing of EOT/ELL Cranes.
- Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of VFDs, PLCs, Drives, and Automation systems.
- Conduct system checks, performance testing, and fault rectification during commissioning.
- Coordinate with engineering, project, and customer teams for successful project execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and commissioning procedures.
- Prepare commissioning reports and technical documentation.
Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech (Electrical) preferred.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering may also be considered.
Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience for B.E./B.Tech candidates.
- Minimum 7 years of experience for Diploma candidates.
- Strong knowledge of Electrical Drive Systems, VFDs, PLCs, and Automation is mandatory.
- Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in commissioning VFDs for Cranes or Material Handling Equipment is essential.
- Knowledge of Siemens VFDs and PLCs will be an added advantage.
Location: Angus Works, Hooghly
Contract: One-year tenure (extendable till project completion based on performance)
Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
