Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate, energetic, and dedicated PRT Mathematics Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a love for numbers and problem-solving in young learners (Classes 1 to 5). You will design engaging lesson plans, simplify mathematical concepts through hands-on activities, and create a supportive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Delivery: Teach Mathematics to primary school students using creative, age-appropriate, and engaging methods.
Lesson Planning: Develop innovative lesson plans, worksheets, and interactive activities (like math games and puzzles) to make learning fun and practical.
Conceptual Clarity: Focus on building strong foundational concepts in topics like arithmetic, geometry, and mental math, moving away from rote learning.
Assessment & Evaluation: Prepare question papers, conduct regular tests, evaluate assignments, and maintain accurate records of student progress.
Individual Attention: Identify students who need extra support or those who are advanced, and adapt teaching techniques to cater to different learning paces.
Classroom Management: Maintain a disciplined, safe, and positive learning environment in the classroom.
Parent-Teacher Communication: Conduct regular updates and participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) to discuss child development and academic growth.
School Events: Active participation in school events, co-curricular activities, and staff meetings.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Graduation with Math as a core subject.
Professional Degree: B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) is mandatory.
Experience: 1–3 years of teaching experience in a reputed school (Freshers with excellent communication skills and strong math concepts are also welcome).
Key Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong command over primary-level Mathematics.
Patience, empathy, and a strong understanding of child psychology.
Familiarity with modern teaching aids, smartboards, or online educational tools.
