Olapetti is an fast-growing e-commerce platform dedicated to bringing authentic regional Indian delicacies, traditional sweets, and heritage products directly to consumers worldwide. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented WordPress Developer Intern to join our team.
In this role, you will get hands-on experience maintaining a live WooCommerce storefront, optimizing site performance, and building modern web pages that directly impact our growing customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining and updating our WooCommerce-based e-commerce platform.
Design, develop, and customize responsive landing pages using Elementor/Divi or clean HTML/CSS.
Optimize website speed, performance, and mobile responsiveness for a seamless user experience.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve plugin conflicts, broken links, and site errors.
Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate third-party tools, tracking pixels, and payment gateways.
Assist with regular site backups, security monitoring, and SEO best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong foundational knowledge of WordPress and WooCommerce.
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript or PHP.
Familiarity with popular WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery).
Understanding of responsive web design (mobile-first approach).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug technical issues independently.
Prior experience building a personal portfolio site or academic web projects is a big plus.
