Core Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Project Execution
- Lead execution of power projects (e.g., coal-based, gas, renewable, transmission lines)
- Oversee engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases
- Ensure alignment with contract scope and technical specifications
2. Project Planning & Scheduling
- Develop master schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
- Monitor milestones, critical paths, and resource allocation
- Drive corrective actions for delays
3. Contract & Commercial Management
- Handle EPC contracts, vendor negotiations, and subcontractor management
- Manage claims, variations, and dispute resolution
- Ensure cost control and margin protection
4. Team Leadership
- Lead multidisciplinary teams (engineering, site execution, QA/QC, safety)
- Coordinate with site managers, project managers, and consultants
- Build high-performance teams across multiple locations
5. Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with clients (e.g., utilities, IPPs), consultants, and government bodies
- Represent the company in review meetings and audits
6. Risk & Safety Management
- Identify execution risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards
- Drive a strong safety culture across sites
7. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover processes

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil)
- MBA (optional but often preferred)
- 30 to 35+ years of experience in EPC/power sector
- Strong exposure to large-scale project execution (₹500+ crore projects typically)
