A Fabric Inward/Outward Incharge is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, documentation, and dispatch of fabric while ensuring accurate inventory records and coordination with production, stores, logistics, and ERP teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesFabric Inward (Receiving)
- Receive fabric from suppliers, mills, and processing units.
- Verify quantity, quality, GSM, color, lot/batch number, and fabric specifications against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and update records in the ERP system.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control team for fabric inspection.
- Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the relevant departments.
- Ensure proper storage and identification of fabric lots.
