Job Overview
SpiderWorks Technologies is looking for a creative and experienced UI/UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of user-centered design and experience creating intuitive, visually appealing, and responsive digital experiences for websites and mobile applications.
You will work closely with developers, project managers, and other teams to transform business requirements and user needs into effective design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for websites, web applications, and mobile applications.
- Conduct user research and understand user requirements, behaviors, and pain points.
- Create user flows, information architecture, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Develop high-fidelity UI designs while maintaining consistency in typography, colors, layouts, and visual elements.
- Create responsive designs that work effectively across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Develop and maintain design systems, UI guidelines, and reusable components.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Work with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide suitable design solutions.
- Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback to improve the overall user experience.
- Identify UX issues and recommend practical design improvements.
- Present design concepts and explain design decisions to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, design tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- 1+ years of professional experience in UI/UX Design.
- Strong proficiency in Figma.
- Good knowledge of wireframing, prototyping, user flows, journey mapping, and interaction design.
- Strong understanding of UI design principles, typography, color theory, visual hierarchy, and layout.
- Experience designing responsive web and mobile interfaces.
- Understanding of user-centered design and usability principles.
- Knowledge of design systems and component-based design.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator or other design tools.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design principles.
- Experience working with developers and understanding technical design constraints.
- Familiarity with UX research and usability testing tools.
