Job Description:
The Store Helper assists in the efficient handling of materials, tools, and consumables used in shipbuilding operations. The role supports storekeeping activities to ensure smooth supply to production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in receiving, unloading, and storing shipbuilding materials and tools
- Issue materials to departments as per requisition slips
- Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of the store
- Support stock counting and inventory checks
- Label, stack, and handle materials safely
- Assist in maintaining basic store records
- Follow safety rules and yard procedures
Requirements:
- Basic literacy preferred
- Physically fit to handle materials
- Willingness to work in shipyard environment
- Prior store or shipyard experience is an advantage
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
