Job purpose
We are seeking a hands-on AI Solutions Engineer with a strong interest in finance automation to design, build, and deliver end-to-end intelligent solutions. This role involves translating finance and deal-related use cases into scalable, working applications, focusing on automating manual and spreadsheet-heavy processes.
The engineer will work closely with finance stakeholders and project teams, leveraging modern AI tools (primarily Claude) along with supporting automation platforms. This is an execution-focused role within the AI Engineering team, requiring independent delivery capability and strong problem-solving skills.
Key responsibilities
Design, build, and deploy end-to-end AI-driven finance automation solutions, primarily using Claude (including prompt engineering, artifact development, and iterative refinement).
Partner with finance and deal teams to understand business requirements and transform manual workflows into automated, scalable solutions.
Develop solutions for use cases such as:
- Data aggregation
- Reconciliation processes
- Formula-driven financial reporting
Integrate automation and data tools including:
- Alteryx
- UiPath
- Data connectivity frameworks (e.g., Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors)
Work with partially defined requirements and translate them into working solutions independently.
Contribute reusable components, templates, and best practices to the organization’s finance automation library.
Coordinate delivery, updates, and status reporting in collaboration with:
- Technical Communicator
- Business Analyst
Ensure solution quality, scalability, and alignment with client expectations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
4–7 years of experience in software engineering, automation, or solutions development.
Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience building AI or automation solutions.
Demonstrated ability to design and deliver end-to-end AI-driven solutions independently.
Experience working with AI-assisted development tools such as:
- Claude (preferred)
- GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent
Strong ability to work with ambiguous or business-defined requirements and convert them into structured solutions.
Basic understanding of finance, deals workflows, or financial services processes (experience in private markets is a plus, but not mandatory).
