Why this role exists:
Employer brand is no longer a recruiter's afterthought — it's a competitive advantage. We're hiring a Social Media Intern to help us compound that advantage every week across LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube. This isn't a shadowing role. It's an operator role with training wheels off.
The mandate:
You'll work alongside our marketing team to shape how candidates perceive DXFactor before they ever apply. It's a role with genuine ownership: you'll manage parts of the content calendar, develop a clear sense of what resonates with talent, and bring the everyday life of the company to life in content people remember.
Core responsibilities:
- Plan, produce, and publish employer-brand and culture content across LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube
- Own segments of the content calendar end-to-end
- Write tight, human copy — captions, hooks, short scripts
- Cover company events and turn them into live coverage and recap content fast
- Coordinate with HR on hiring campaigns, employee spotlights, and candidate-facing content tied to open roles
- Drive community engagement and a consistent brand voice in comments and DMs
- Repurpose long-form content (talks, panels, interviews) into platform-native short-form
- Build AI-assisted workflows for ideation, research, and drafting
- Maintain weekly reporting with interpretation — what worked, what didn't, what's next
What strong looks like:
- Clear, persuasive writing under tight constraints
- The instinct to draw a genuine story out of a ten-minute hallway conversation
- An eye for what makes a workplace appear authentic rather than staged
- A bias toward execution, with the comfort to iterate quickly from early drafts
- Strong self-direction — the ability to turn ambiguity into clarity
Preferred background:
- Marketing, business, communications, design, or media studies (current or recent)
- Documented work: a personal account, side project, newsletter, or portfolio
- Prior internship, freelance, or creator experience is a plus, not a requirement
Toolkit:
Comfort with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, and Google Workspace, alongside AI productivity tools like ChatGPT and Claude. We expect you to build leverage with AI, not avoid it.
Performance expectations:
- Zero missed publish dates against the content calendar
- Measurable LinkedIn follower and engagement growth over your term
- Event coverage published within 48 hours, every time
- Weekly reporting that interprets the numbers, not just lists them
