We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Audit Assistant to support the audit team in conducting concurrent audits. The candidate will assist in reviewing financial records, verifying supporting documents, preparing audit working papers, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation laws, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting concurrent audits.
- Verify books of accounts, financial statements, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Prepare audit working papers and maintain proper audit documentation.
- Collect, analyze, and reconcile financial data required for audit assignments.
- Identify discrepancies, exceptions, and compliance issues, and report them to seniors.
- Assist in drafting audit observations and audit reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation laws, and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and balance confirmations.
- Coordinate with clients to obtain necessary information and documents.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, schedules, and MIS reports, wherever required.
- Travel to client locations for audit and verification work, as and when required.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to professional ethics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- CA Inter (appeared/pursuing) or Articleship experience will be an added advantage.
- Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of audit experience may apply.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards.
- Understanding of GST, Income Tax, TDS, and Companies Act provisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software such as Tally.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willingness to travel for audit assignments.
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in audit, accounting, taxation, or related fields.

Pay: ₹7,500.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
