- Do keyword research and maintain a keyword plan for landing pages and blog content.
- Optimise on-page elements: titles, meta descriptions, headings, and internal links.
- Write and edit SEO-friendly content and blog articles that read naturally.
- Build quality backlinks through outreach, directory listings, and guest posts. No spammy or paid link schemes.
- Monitor page speed and technical health, and flag issues to the developers.
- Track competitors and prepare a simple monthly SEO report.
Social media responsibilities
- Manage our social media accounts across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X (Twitter), Pinterest, and WhatsApp or Telegram.
- Plan, create, and schedule regular posts, including short videos and graphics.
- Grow followers, build community groups, and keep the audience engaged.
- Respond to comments and messages, and encourage sharing and interaction.
- Run basic organic campaigns and track what performs best.
- Report on follower growth, reach, and engagement each week/month.
Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in SEO and social media, with results you can show.
- Comfortable with Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4.
- Working knowledge of an SEO tool such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest.
- Good understanding of on-page SEO, keyword research, and link building.
- Experience managing social media accounts and creating content.
- Clear, natural English writing skills.
- Basic understanding of HTML and website structure.
- Organised, self-driven, and able to report progress clearly.
Good to have
- Experience with a content or entertainment website.
- Basic design skills (Canva) or simple video editing.
- Familiarity with schema markup, sitemaps, and page-speed basics.
- Some experience with paid social or Google Ads.
