About the Role
We are looking for a skilled MERN Stack Developer who can build high-quality, scalable, and secure web applications. The ideal candidate should be strong in both frontend and backend development using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy full-stack web applications using the MERN stack.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
- Build responsive UI components using React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Design and manage databases using MongoDB (including schemas, indexing, and optimization).
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend teams.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ES6+, and TypeScript (optional but preferred).
- Hands-on experience with React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
- Experience with frontend tools like Redux, Tailwind, Material UI, or Bootstrap.
- Knowledge of API development and RESTful architecture.
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub or GitLab version control systems.
- Understanding of authentication technologies (JWT, OAuth).
- Basic understanding of DevOps workflows (CI/CD, Docker, AWS) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
- Experience with serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, Firebase).
- Knowledge of Next.js for advanced frontend capabilities.
- Experience working with microservices architecture.
- Understanding of testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
