A project resource manager plans, allocates, and optimizes an organization's staff, tools, and budgets across various projects. They track team availability, resolve scheduling conflicts, and forecast future hiring needs.
- Resource Allocation: Assign employees to projects based on their specific skills, experience, and availability.
- Capacity Planning: Forecast future resource demands and determine if the company has enough staff to handle upcoming pipeline projects.
- Utilization Tracking: Monitor daily workloads, billable utilization, and overtime hours to prevent team burnout.
- Conflict Resolution: Reallocate team members or adjust timelines when multiple projects compete for the same specialized talent.
- Hiring & Training Support: Collaborate with human resources to recruit new talent or arrange staff training to fill skill gaps.
Requirements and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 or more years working in resource management, project coordination, or operations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with resource management and capacity planning software, plus strong data analysis skills in Excel.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal communication, problem-solving, organizational, and negotiation abilities.
- Communication: Able to communicate in Hindi and English.
- Computer Awareness: Good in Excel spreadsheets, word and PowerPoint and able to send out daily, monthly and quarterly reports
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
