Job Purpose : Strategic Business Planner will support the SME Division in driving business performance through structured MIS, financial analytics, sales governance, and portfolio reporting.The role works closely with the Sales, Product & Finance Teams, acting as a central SPOC for business performance tracking and financial insights. Key Accountibilities : - Develop and deliver high‑quality Monthly and Quarterly Sales Business Review presentations for senior leadership, ensuring clear communication of business performance and insights. - Monitor and analyse key performance indicators across SME Assets and Liabilities, including disbursements, income, yields, productivity, and portfolio quality, to support data‑driven decision‑making. - Lead and support annual and periodic sales budgeting exercises, and prepare performance scorecards at region and team levels to enable structured business planning. - Drive productivity initiatives by identifying performance gaps, conducting variance analysis, and providing actionable recommendations to improve sales effectiveness. - Serve as the central point of contact for income‑related queries from Sales teams; partner with Finance and Product teams to resolve income mapping and reporting discrepancies. - Track portfolio trends affecting revenue and capital efficiency, and support reporting for refinance‑related portfolio management. - Enhance MIS reporting efficiency by driving automation, streamlining data processes, and improving the accuracy and timeliness of sales performance dashboards. Job Duties & Responsibilities : - Prepare executive level Monthly/Quarterly Sales Business Review presentations for senior management. - Track key KPIs across SME Assets & Liabilities including disbursements, income, yields, productivity, and portfolio quality. - Work on annual and periodic sales budgeting exercises and performance scorecards at region/team level. - Driving productivity, highlighting performance gaps. - Act as central support for Sales on income-related queries (fees, yield, ROI, portfolio returns).Coordinate with Finance and Product teams to resolve income mapping or reporting discrepancies. - Assist in monitoring portfolio trends impacting revenue and capital efficiency, Support refinance-related portfolio tracking and reporting. - Drive automation and process improvements in Sales & MIS preparation. Requirements: - Minimum 4+ years of experience in Business Analytics / Sales & Financial Planning / MIS – (MBA/CA preferred) - Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups, dashboards) - Strong numerical and analytical ability , understanding of Banking KPIs - Structured communication and story-telling presentation skills - Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines Core Competencies : The job holder needs to posses the following skills: - Strong analytical bent of mind - Experience around data science - Excellent communication - Collaborative skill set to drive execution.
