Job Summary
SparkBrains Private Limited is seeking a talented Python Developer with 2+ years of hands-on experience in Django to join our growing tech team in Chandigarh. The ideal candidate should be passionate about writing clean, efficient code and enjoy working in a collaborative development environment. Experience with FastAPI or Flask is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Django
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices
- Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and other team members
- Develop, optimize, and maintain RESTful APIs
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance application performance
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to project planning
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python and its core libraries
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Django
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and web services
- Experience with ORMs, authentication, middleware, and Django admin customization
- Knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Experience with Git for version control
- Familiarity with unit testing and debugging tools
Preferred / Bonus Skills
- Experience with FastAPI and/or Flask
- Knowledge of Docker, Postman, Celery, and Redis
- Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Python web development
