Assistant Purchase / Procurement Manager – Manufacturing

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Purchase / Procurement Manager for a manufacturing company to manage sourcing, vendor development, and procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end procurement of raw materials and components
- Identify and develop reliable vendors and negotiate pricing
- Create and manage purchase orders and follow up on deliveries
- Ensure cost optimization and timely material availability
- Maintain vendor records and performance tracking
- Coordinate with production, stores, and accounts teams
- Monitor inventory levels and avoid shortages or overstock
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in purchase/procurement (manufacturing preferred)
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of procurement processes and inventory control
- Experience with ERP/Tally systems
- Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred
- B.Com / MBA / relevant qualification
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment
