As a Resident Medical Officer (RMO) in at Anvi Newborn and Child hospital, you'll be responsible for providing daily medical care to inpatients and outpatients, ensuring their well-being, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Patient Care & Assessment:
- Provide medical care: Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and other health conditions.
- Monitor and manage patients: Oversee patient progress during their hospital stay, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Critical care: Monitor and treat critically sick patients in NICU and PICU areas.
- Emergency response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies and provide immediate medical care.
Documentation & Communication:
- Maintain accurate medical records: Keep current and accurate medical documents of patients.
- Communicate effectively: Communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Team Collaboration & Professional Development:
- Work with multidisciplinary teams: Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Continuous learning: Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.
- Quality improvement: Participate in initiatives to improve patient care and hospital processes.
- Supervise medical wards: Duty medical officers (which can include RMOs) may supervise medical wards and provide adequate patient care.
