Position: Human Resources Generalist
Location: Vasant Kunj, New Delhi

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and people-oriented Human Resources Generalist to manage end-to-end HR operations and support the overall employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of HR best practices, statutory compliance, employee engagement, and talent management. Prior experience in an educational institution or a similar environment will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and exit formalities.
- Develop, implement, and ensure adherence to HR policies, procedures, and organizational guidelines.
- Administer employee benefits, leave management, attendance, and other HR operations.
- Address employee queries and foster positive employee relations by providing timely HR support.
- Coordinate induction and orientation programs for new employees.
- Identify training needs and organize learning and development initiatives.
- Support performance management processes, including probation reviews and annual appraisals.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, and organizational policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality.
- Generate HR reports and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with department heads to address workforce planning and other HR-related requirements.
- Assist in implementing employee engagement initiatives and promoting a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in the education sector.
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and HR best practices.
- Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Sound understanding of employee benefits administration and statutory compliance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with professionalism.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in schools, universities, or other educational institutions.
- Familiarity with HRMS systems and digital HR processes.
- Knowledge of labour laws and regulatory compliance applicable to educational institutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with academic and administrative teams in a dynamic environment.
