Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Associate to support our business growth in Mumbai. The role involves B2B client acquisition, relationship management, and customer handling within the NBFC ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in banking or allied financial services and be comfortable with extensive client interactions and travel across Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, acquire, and onboard new B2B clients (SMEs, corporates, channel partners, etc.) for NBFC products and services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to drive repeat business
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations across Mumbai
- Understand client financial needs and recommend suitable NBFC products
- Coordinate with internal teams (credit, operations, risk, and collections) to ensure smooth onboarding and disbursement
- Ensure timely documentation, compliance, and adherence to internal policies
- Maintain accurate records of leads, client interactions, and conversions
- Achieve assigned customer acquisition and revenue targets
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback
Eligibility & Requirements
- Graduate degree with Finance specialization (preferred)
- 3-4 years of experience in Banking, NBFCs, Financial Services, or allied industries
- Proven B2B customer acquisition or relationship management experience
- Strong customer handling and communication skills
- Ability to understand financial products and explain them clearly to clients
- Willingness to travel within Mumbai for client meetings
- Immediate or short-notice joiners preferred
